With her unique soundtrack of 21st century disco and a talent for reading the crowd Trendy Wendy has become infamous for her skill at creating a party and rocking even the most difficult dance floors. She plays a masterful blend of disco, soul, funk, hip hop, house and even kitsch cheesy classics which all come together to create a jumping atmosphere and make you put your hands in the air!
Trendy Wendy is proud to have cut her teeth on cheese in her early days as a dj! Setting out to musically go where no music policy had dared to go before - seamlessly mixing kitsch, pop classics, disco, easy listening, soft rock and even rave, her opening mission statement was to put the FUN back into clubbing with her legendary night “Tackno”. At the same time she was involved in the heyday of underground dance clubs as resident dj at “Joy” Scotland’s first and longest running underground gay club.
Since then, Wendy has played every reputable venue in town, with long term residencies held at some of Edinburgh’s best loved nights, as well as travelling the UK, Europe and much further afield.
Most recently, music festivals have been added to her ever expanding schedule allowing her to bring her cutting edge style to festivals such as The Beat-herder, Kelburn, Isle of Wight, TRNSMT, Creamfields & Audio Soup and spread her funky, eclectic & fun sound to the masses.
